What Crypto Analysts Are Saying About Avalanche

While specific analyst predictions from crypto Twitter are limited in the past 24 hours, recent blockchain analysis from verified sources suggests bullish momentum ahead for AVAX. According to Timothy Morano's January 26 analysis, "Avalanche (AVAX) shows consolidation near $11.78 with analysts projecting 12-19% upside to $15.50-$16.50 range within 2-3 weeks despite current bearish momentum."

Rongchai Wang reinforced this Avalanche forecast on January 29, noting that "AVAX consolidates near $11.58 with analysts projecting 12-19% upside to $15.50-$16.50 range within 2-3 weeks despite current bearish momentum signals."

Most recently, Alvin Lang's February 2 analysis provided a comprehensive AVAX price prediction summary: "Short-term target (1 week): $11.20-$12.00; Medium-term forecast (1 month): $15.50-$16.50 range."

According to on-chain data from major analytics platforms, these predictions align with technical indicators suggesting AVAX is positioned for a potential reversal despite current bearish momentum.

AVAX Technical Analysis Breakdown

Avalanche's current technical setup presents a mixed but potentially bullish picture. Trading at $10.06, AVAX sits well below its moving averages, with the SMA 20 at $11.87 and SMA 50 at $12.60, indicating the token remains in a downtrend.

However, the RSI reading of 29.13 signals severely oversold conditions, historically a precursor to price bounces. The MACD histogram at -0.0000 shows bearish momentum is potentially exhausting, while the MACD line at -0.8412 remains in negative territory.

Avalanche's position within the Bollinger Bands is particularly telling. With a %B position of 0.1182, AVAX trades near the lower band at $9.50, suggesting the selling pressure may be overdone. The upper band sits at $14.23, providing a clear resistance target.

Key support levels include the immediate support at $9.90 and strong support at $9.74. On the upside, AVAX faces immediate resistance at $10.27 and strong resistance at $10.48 - a level that could trigger the bullish breakout analysts are anticipating.

Avalanche Price Targets: Bull vs Bear Case

Bullish Scenario

If AVAX breaks above the strong resistance at $10.48, the path opens toward the analyst consensus targets of $15.50-$16.50. This represents a potential 54-64% gain from current levels. The bullish case gains strength if RSI moves above 30, confirming oversold conditions are reversing.

Technical confirmation would come from a daily close above $10.48, followed by a retest of the SMA 20 at $11.87. A successful reclaim of this level could accelerate the move toward the $12.00 short-term target and eventually the $15.50-$16.50 medium-term range.

Bearish Scenario

Should AVAX fail to hold the $9.90 immediate support, a drop toward strong support at $9.74 becomes likely. A break below this critical level could trigger further downside toward the Bollinger Band lower support at $9.50.

The bearish scenario intensifies if volume remains low and the MACD fails to show positive divergence. In this case, AVAX could face additional selling pressure, potentially targeting the $9.00-$9.50 range before finding a meaningful bottom.

Should You Buy AVAX? Entry Strategy

Based on the technical analysis and analyst projections, a staged entry approach appears optimal for AVAX. Consider initial positions near current levels of $10.06, with additional buying on any dip toward the $9.74-$9.90 support zone.

For risk management, a stop-loss below $9.50 protects against a breakdown of key support levels. The oversold RSI provides a favorable risk-reward setup, particularly for traders willing to hold for the 2-3 week timeframe analysts suggest for the $15.50-$16.50 targets.

Position sizing should account for AVAX's current volatility, measured at an ATR of $0.68. This suggests daily price swings of approximately 7%, requiring appropriate risk management.

Conclusion

This AVAX price prediction suggests significant upside potential despite current technical weakness. The convergence of oversold RSI conditions, analyst targets of $15.50-$16.50, and strong support levels creates a compelling setup for patient investors.

The Avalanche forecast remains cautiously optimistic, with a 60% confidence level in reaching the $11.20-$12.00 range within one week and moderate confidence in the medium-term targets. However, cryptocurrency markets remain highly volatile, and this analysis should not constitute financial advice. Always conduct your own research and never invest more than you can afford to lose.

How The ByteDance App Survived Trump And A US Ban

The post How The ByteDance App Survived Trump And A US Ban appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. WASHINGTON, DC – MARCH 13: Participants hold signs in support of TikTok outside the U.S. Capitol Building on March 13, 2024 in Washington, DC. (Photo by Anna Moneymaker/Getty Images) Getty Images From President Trump’s first ban attempt to a near-blackout earlier this year, TikTok’s five-year roller coaster ride looks like it’s finally slowing down now that Trump has unveiled a deal framework to keep the ByteDance app alive in the U.S. A look back at the saga around TikTok starting in 2020, however, shows just how close the app came to being shut out of the US – how it narrowly averted a ban and forced sale that found rare bipartisan backing in Washington. Recapping TikTok’s dramatic five-year battle When I interviewed Brendan Carr back in 2022, for example, the future FCC chairman was already certain at that point that TikTok’s days were numbered. For a litany of perceived sins — everything from the too-cozy relationship of the app’s parent company with China’s ruling regime to the app’s repeated floating of user privacy — Carr was already convinced, at least during his conversation with me, that: “The tide is going out on TikTok.” It was, in fact, one of the few issues that Washington lawmakers seemed to agree on. Even then-President Biden was on board, having resurrected Trump’s aborted TikTok ban from his first term and signed it into law. “It feels different now than it did two years ago at the end of the Trump administration, when concerns were first raised,” Carr told me then, in August of 2022. “I think, like a lot of things in the Trump era, people sort of picked sides on the issue based on the fact that it was Trump.” One thing led to another, though, and it looked like Carr was probably…
