PANews reported on December 18th, citing Cointelegraph, that Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin stated that the Ethereum blockchain needs to better explain its features to users to achieve a truly trustless mechanism, a common challenge faced by all blockchain protocols. While transactions and smart contracts are executed by open-source code and a decentralized validator network, giving Ethereum a trustless nature, Buterin stated in a post on the X platform (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday: "An important and underrated form of trustlessness is increasing the number of people who can truly and fully understand the entire protocol. Ethereum needs to do this better." When asked if this idea is realistic considering the trade-off between technical features and user understanding, Buterin said, "Sometimes we should be willing to reduce some features."
