Trump has dementia and is ‘off the rails’: Alex Jones

Far-right commentator Alex Jones may have supported President Donald Trump since the beginning of his political career, but he now has a message for his fellow MAGA voters: “I think we’re dealing with the madness of King George III here.”

Jones was referring to the 18th-century British king whose reign was characterized by a descent into physical and mental illness.

“Folks, when you’ve got ankles that big,” said Jones, speaking about photos of Trump’s ankles that have left many speculating about his condition, “it means congestive heart failure.”

What’s more, after listing a series of contradictory statements the president has made recently, Jones voiced another suspicion about the state of Trump’s health, saying, “When you know someone in early dementia, that is exactly what they do.”

This isn’t the first time Jones has voiced such concerns. Recently, he’s expressed a sense of betrayal over Trump’s mishandling of the Epstein files and the war on Iran, offering a number of theories about his failing health. His latest criticisms of the president, however, stem from Trump’s statement earlier this week on Medicaid and Medicare.

Speaking at the White House on Wednesday, Trump said that it’s “not possible” for the federal government to fund Medicare, Medicaid, and child care costs because “we’re fighting wars.”

“That’s always the big third rail situation that you know you don’t touch,” noted Jones. “That’s political suicide. And his new budget is a wartime economy. So Trump is off the rails.”

While Jones says he’s been attacked by MAGA supporters for criticizing the president, the self-proclaimed “populist conservative Christian nationalist” pointed out that he’s backed Trump since the beginning, and was one of the first to point out the similar health decline of former President Joe Biden.

“No one who’s paying attention can deny that Trump has become extremely erratic,” asserted Jones. “Some people try to cover that and say he’s doing negotiation, so he’s trying to confuse people. I’ve seen his tactics before. That is not what this is. He is all over the map. It is destroying confidence in the economy. And no one in their right mind can say the feds aren’t going to go in with legislation to screw up Medicare and Medicaid. That is political suicide. Then bizarre statements about, well, I let really evil people influence me and I shouldn’t.”

Here Jones was referring to another statement Trump made early Wednesday, in which he admitted that he is easily “seduced” by “bad people.”

“We’re not supposed to be seduced that way, right? But I am,” Trump said. “When somebody’s nice to me, I love that person. Even if they’re bad people, I couldn’t care less, I’ll fight ‘til the end for them.”

Jones was not happy with this admission, saying, “We got a big, big problem.”
