On Monday, Wen followed through on his promise to plead and was sentenced to nine days in a Singapore prison, the BBC reported. The BBC noted that under Singapore’s sentencing structure for public nuisance, Wen could have gotten up three months of jail or the U.S. equivalent of a $1,57 fine or both.
