Discover a New Way to Experience Your City with Fever

In today’s fast-paced world, finding exciting things to do can often feel overwhelming. Between endless social media scrolling, unreliable event listings, and last-minute sellouts, discovering meaningful experiences shouldn’t be this hard. That’s exactly the problem Fever was built to solve. As a global platform dedicated to helping people discover and book unforgettable experiences, Fever transforms how we explore our cities – and even the way we travel.

Your city experiences here.

At its core, Fever is not just another ticketing website. It is a curated discovery platform designed to connect people with extraordinary moments. Whether you’re interested in live music, immersive art exhibitions, candlelight concerts, food experiences, outdoor adventures, or cultural events, Fever brings everything together in one seamless ecosystem. The platform operates in hundreds of cities worldwide, making it easy to uncover experiences tailored to where you are – or where you’re going next.

One of Fever’s standout features is personalization. Rather than presenting a generic list of events, Fever uses smart recommendations based on your interests, location, and browsing behavior. This means users are consistently introduced to experiences they’re genuinely likely to enjoy, from hidden cultural gems to trending must-see attractions. It’s discovery done right – intuitive, relevant, and exciting.

Fever is also known for its exclusive experiences. Many events featured on the platform are created in partnership with organizers and are only available through Fever. These include immersive exhibitions, themed pop-ups, live performances in unexpected venues, and curated experiences that blur the line between entertainment and art. This exclusivity makes Fever particularly appealing to people who want something different from the usual concert or night out.

The booking process itself is refreshingly simple. With mobile tickets delivered directly to your phone, there’s no need for printing or complicated check-ins. Everything from browsing to booking takes just a few taps, allowing users to focus on the experience rather than the logistics. Fever also provides real-time updates, reminders, and customer support, ensuring a smooth journey from discovery to entry.

Another major advantage of Fever is accessibility. Experiences range across price points and interests, making it just as suitable for spontaneous plans as it is for special occasions. Looking for a romantic date idea? A family-friendly activity? A unique gift? Fever has curated categories designed to help users quickly find what they’re looking for without the guesswork.

Ultimately, Fever is redefining how people connect with culture, entertainment, and their cities. By combining smart technology with carefully curated content, the platform empowers users to turn ordinary days into memorable moments. Whether you’re a local rediscovering your city or a traveler looking for authentic experiences, Fever opens the door to a world of possibilities – one experience at a time.

The Channel Factories We’ve Been Waiting For

The post The Channel Factories We’ve Been Waiting For appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Visions of future technology are often prescient about the broad strokes while flubbing the details. The tablets in “2001: A Space Odyssey” do indeed look like iPads, but you never see the astronauts paying for subscriptions or wasting hours on Candy Crush.  Channel factories are one vision that arose early in the history of the Lightning Network to address some challenges that Lightning has faced from the beginning. Despite having grown to become Bitcoin’s most successful layer-2 scaling solution, with instant and low-fee payments, Lightning’s scale is limited by its reliance on payment channels. Although Lightning shifts most transactions off-chain, each payment channel still requires an on-chain transaction to open and (usually) another to close. As adoption grows, pressure on the blockchain grows with it. The need for a more scalable approach to managing channels is clear. Channel factories were supposed to meet this need, but where are they? In 2025, subnetworks are emerging that revive the impetus of channel factories with some new details that vastly increase their potential. They are natively interoperable with Lightning and achieve greater scale by allowing a group of participants to open a shared multisig UTXO and create multiple bilateral channels, which reduces the number of on-chain transactions and improves capital efficiency. Achieving greater scale by reducing complexity, Ark and Spark perform the same function as traditional channel factories with new designs and additional capabilities based on shared UTXOs.  Channel Factories 101 Channel factories have been around since the inception of Lightning. A factory is a multiparty contract where multiple users (not just two, as in a Dryja-Poon channel) cooperatively lock funds in a single multisig UTXO. They can open, close and update channels off-chain without updating the blockchain for each operation. Only when participants leave or the factory dissolves is an on-chain transaction…
